Equity Golf
Private country clubs charge an upfront initiation fee and annual dues. Initiation fees are typically a one-time fee, with dues payable on an annual, quarterly or monthly basis, and they are often partial equity, indicating that the member would receive back a portion of their investment (equity) if they were to leave the membership. A full golf membership generally includes all social membership privileges plus unlimited use of the golf course with no greens fees, but there is usually a cart fee.

Bundled Golf
Many residential country club communities offer "bundled golf", which means that the home buyer receives a full golf membership included in the purchase price of their home. When compared to full golf membership fees at some of the clubs, the amount that this adds to homes or condos in the development is usually quite nominal.
